To commemorate SCAD Lacoste’s 20th anniversary, a select team of 15 multidisciplinary students were selected to fly to the South of France and live in an idyllic medieval village for three wholesome weeks. We produced an enchanted, immersive light projection and digital mapping experience for four iconic sites in Provence’s Luberon Valley which ran across the summer of 2022 and captivated thousands of tourists and locals throughout the summer of 2022.

The exhibition showcases a diverse range of work by students from various backgrounds and majors, including Film & Television, Immersive Reality, Graphic Design, Animation, and Motion Design. The images captured from the exhibition offer a glimpse into the variety of projects and creative expressions on display. Each student brings their unique perspective and skills to the table, resulting in a rich and dynamic showcase of artistic talent and innovation.

During our project in France's Luberon Provence, we documented our work in progress as we tested our designs on the four unique sites. We embraced the challenge of working with diverse textures and surfaces, experimenting to find the best solutions. The long days and late nights, waiting for complete darkness until around 10 pm, provided valuable insights that allowed us to refine and enhance our project.
